Mike Strauss is the founder and co-owner of S&H FoodService. With decades of experience in the food service industry, Mike has built a career around developing meaningful relationships with clients, prime vendors, and military installations worldwide.
Mike graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's degree in Restaurant Hotel Management. He began his career with Stouffers Restaurants in Chicago, working in deli and catering operations. He then transitioned into food service brokerage, representing brands like Lamb Weston.
Mike spent 16 years at Kellogg's specializing in military sales, where he developed deep expertise in the government procurement process and built lasting relationships with key decision makers across the military food service landscape.
Today, Mike leverages his extensive experience to help clients navigate the complex military procurement process, develop strategic business plans, and build strong partnerships with prime vendors and military bases around the world.
